Worm Surprise

How gross is this?! Scott is making chili for the ward cook-off and earlier he came over to me holding a jalapeno saying "Check this out". BLEH!! Do you see the huge worm inside it? Tasty huh? Scott took it back to the store and got a new one. Glad he opened it up before he chopped it!

Need to Vent!

So our second stroller also came to us broken. This second time the box was also ripped open. All I gotta say is that the UPS people should show some more care for other peoples things. It's so frustrating! Target.com is now sending us a 3rd one and hopefully they will find a way to put FRAGILE on the box or something so that it doesn't get dropped a million times and torn apart. That's what I requested anyway. I'm just glad we started doing this now and not when we actually really need it in several weeks.

33 Weeks Along

Well here is my belly! It is feeling quite huge. I am really beginning to look forward to not having it anymore! At my appointment today the doctor said I am now measuring "spot on", and I have gained 14 pounds. I wish I remember how much I had gained at this point with David but I didn't write it down. I hope it's about the same. Anyways, I really am feeling great. Only 7 weeks to go! Though if this one comes early like David only 5 to go! We'll see what happens!

We also sent our stroller back and they are sending us a new one. Hopefully it won't break during shipping too!

My Little Helper

David has always been very interested when I'm doing laundry, so I thought I'd let him help me with a job that's getting harder and harder to do in my pregnancy. He loved it! He did the whole basket!

New Stroller!

So we got our new stroller today!! I absolutely love it! There's only one problem. It arrived with the things(yes I'm so smart) that hold the belly bar in place, broken. You can't put any weight on it at all or it would just fall off. So we are trying to decide if we should go through the hassel of returning it and hoping the next one doesn't get banged up during delivery also, or just using gorilla glue to fix it. I'm thinking we should probably return it. Other than that I am so happy with the stroller I picked. So many good features that I won't go into here on my blog. Though in the empty seat do you see how it reclines all the way? I can put a 6 wk old baby in it. Perfect! David is in love with it too and kept playing with the wheels(he's such a boy!) and pushing it around the living room. The only thing is it will take up our WHOLE trunk. I guess that means it's time for a new car!! haha, yeah right.

Here's a Shocker

I cut my hair! The new do is one my friend Tristen from my ward has been wanting to do for a while but I had to build up the courage. I actually was just so fed up with my hair that I didn't care any more!

So here are a couple pictures of what it USED to look like. Need I remind anyone what my hair has looked like for the majority of my life? Though I have to say in these pictures I let it air dry so it's REALLY bad.

Who do you think David looks like? Not that it matters at all but I think it's fun to guess. So here are a few pictures of Scott and I when we were younger, and then some of David in the part 2 post (it wouldn't let me do so many pictures in one post). I'm on the left in this first picture.

Like Father, Like Son

Scott took this picture of David yesterday, and I just couldn't believe how much David looks like him when he was younger! In the second picture Scott is the one with the suspenders in the back. I don't know, maybe I'm the only one who can see it? There is another picture of Scott that this picture of David looks exactly alike except it's burried in an album somewhere. I think he's going to turn out looking a lot like his Daddy except with my hair color and freckles (he already has some! ah!) I guess we'll see. =)

Kite Flying!

After conference on Saturday we went to the park with some friends and flew Sponge Bob kites and played on the toys. Scott and his friend had a blast trying to attack each others kites, and Scott helped David fly it (he was very interested in the kites). I even tried it for the first time since I was a little kid. I wasn't very good at it. =) It was such a beautiful day though! It feels like Spring might be finally beginning! Yay!

So Easy to Please

David is so funny. Hand him a paper towel, napkin or toilet paper and he will sit there and shred it for a good half hour if not longer. It's great when we just want a little peace and quiet! I have to say it's worth the clean up. =)

30 Weeks Pregnant!

So I am now 30 weeks pregnant and feeling huge. Only 10 weeks to go! The doctor says I'm measuring a little small, but says that just means I'm going to have a 7 pounder instead of a 9 pounder. I sure hope so! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by. In no time I'll be chasing 2 kids around. Oh dear. =)

Way Too Much Cereal

So Albertsons is having an awesome deal on Kellogs cereal. 7 boxes for 4 dollars. The boxes were stacked up to the ceiling and you could hardly get to them for all the carts and people. After getting what we wanted and waiting for a VERY long time in line, we came home and played with them! It was a lot of fun! Scott built a tower then let David Knock it down. And then he put them up like dominos with a tower at the end and let David knock that down too. It's all in the pictures and video. David loved it and Scott was very proud of his tower. =)

Bath Time

This is just after David got a bath from Daddy. Can you tell Scott doesn't like taking pictures? Too bad he's married to me. haha. And here is a video of David enjoying his bath. Scott was next to me making faces at him.
