Our Little Angel Has Arrived!

Sydney Sorenson was born at 11:00 "on the dot" Sunday morning. She weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. and has dark hair!! I can't believe it. I thought all my kids would be bald. She is sooo beautiful and such a little sweetheart. For those of you who care here is a brief rundown of how labor went down. haha. At 3am I started having contractions. Started recording them and working on my last set of VT assignments at 3:20am. Yes I procrastinated. =) We arrived at the hospital at 6am and I was dilated to a 4 and contractions were 6 min apart(they had been between 2 and 5 min before I arrived. Go figure.). They didn't want to admit me yet so they made me walk around the level for a half hour. Painful. Finally got admitted and then FINALLY got an epidural that was working around 8am. After that I dilated fast and only had to push for about 20 minutes! That was so great. David I had to push for hours. I only needed 2 stitches and felt great right after and still. I credit that to the Raspberry combination pill I have been taking for the last 6 weeks and aso to working out regularly throughout the pregnancy. Sydney had to be vaccumed out because she was in distress and had swallowed fluid. But she came back completely well less than an hour later. Anyway, we are both doing very well. I feel soooo much better than I did after having David. He's having a hard time with me not being able to pick him up and of course now that is all he wants. Hopefully he will get used to the situation soon. Anyway, here are some pictures! Enjoy!

Sorry, I did the posts backwards. If you want pictures in chronological order, look at the second post with just pictues first, and then at this one.

David during one of the few times he was interested in Sydney instead of running around the room opening cupboards and playing with the water(there were foot pedals).

Ready to go home!

I know I already said congrats, but congrats! She's beautiful. The second goes smoother than the first, so I've heard ;*)

I'm so glad you feel so great!! That's awesome. And Congratulations!! She is beautiful. Was it me that told you about the raspberry pill? I guess I have a hard time remembering who I told because I have a lot of friends right now that are close to having babies-so I've told a lot of people! Well if it was me, then I'm so glad I told you. You both look lovely:)

Thank you for the picture of Scott with out a hat on... I may frame this one in case I see him at Church and wouldn't know him. Oh Scott, one of my missionary friends will be the new mission president in our mission starting July 1, President Robert Condie and his wife Linda!!
