Two Kids-Five Medicines!

So my kids have been sick for a while now. I talked to a nurse a couple days ago and she said to wait and see if they still were sick into next week. Well in the last couple days they've gotten a few more symptoms(fever, ear ache, wheezing) and so I took them in. Well the poor things are not well. They both have a virus that's making them cough up a lung and giving them runny noses. Sydney's is actually bad enough to be Bronciolitis. Each of them have two different medicines for the Nebulizer. Then David also has an ear infection! He woke up like every half hour last night until about 2am when I finally could get to bed. =(

I've never had to do a nebulizer before and it is a nightmare trying to get Sydney to do it. This first time she struggled for most of it and then finally fell asleep sitting up in my arms while it finished up. =( I felt so bad! I haven't done David yet so we'll see how that goes. !!

How sad! I feel bad for your kids and for you too! Kids being sick when you're a mom makes the job ten times more emotionally and physically taxing. Get well soon!

Oh my goodness, that's awful! Hazel hasn't gotten sick yet (knock on wood), but I can only imagine how awful it must be to have them so sick and there's not a whole lot you can do for them besides give them their medicine and lots of lovin. Good luck!

That is awful and we know how you feel! That sounds exactly like Noah and he has been sick for like three weeks straight! It is so hard. Let us know if anything helps a lot because so far Noah isn't showing much improvement and he has been using the nebulizer for a couple of weeks now. Sheesh.

That does not sound like any fun. Hopefully they start feeling better soon so life can look a little brighter. Oh and by the way- both Kyle and I did the life expectancy thing and I get a 94 and he got an 86. Hopefully it will not be true because with our age difference I would be alone for like, 10 years. And that would be depressing!

how rough! Lincoln has to have a nebulizer 3 times a day. our doctor suggested letting him watch TV while we do it. Although i am EXTREMELY anti baby TV, i have to admit it works.
