My Favorite Movies

So it's really late and I really don't feel like going to bed, so I'm going to do a lame post. Yay! Anyways, I was just thinking today about my favorite movies and I thought that just maybe some of you care! It's too late for me to put them in any particular order. I am a huge movie fan(though not generally of the ones Oscar loves for best picture) and there are TONS of movies besides these I love, but these are ones that are at the top. The ones I could watch over and over, and that have touched me in one way or another(I know when some of you see some of these you're gonna wonder about that, but sorry, I don't want to explain myself over each one). So without anymore pointless remarks that you probably skipped anyway, here is the list:
1. The Sound of Music
2. Seabiscuit
3. Australia
4. A Little Princess
5. The Lord of the Rings series
6. Prince Caspian
7. Sense and Sensibility
8. Ever After
9. Anne of Green Gables series
10. Moulin Rouge
I'm sure I might've forgotten a couple. Now that I have it down I'm actually a little surprised. Way more chick flicks then I would have thought before. I am normally not a huge chick flick fan but, when they're good I guess they're really good. What are some of yours?

Yes to the Sound of Music- Hopefully to Austrailia- Definitely to the Lord of the Rings- Prince Caspian? Not so much, I liked the first one just as well- Ever After- maybe once a year. I can totally see why the Anne of Green Gables Series made the list. Moulin Rouge- Not to crazy about. Good list though, and no we haven't seen Austailia yet for several reasons. There are no cheap theaters here and we would rent it except we don't have a dvd player. However Kyle is getting one for his birthday which is on Sunday so maybe we will rent it.

Most movies I prefer to watch every once in a while--like a few months between watches, at least. But, there are a few that I can watch more often:

The Scarlet Pimpernel
Stardust
Transformers
US Marshals
Live Free or Die Hard
(The above three I'd prefer to be edited)
Emma (sometimes I fast forward to the romantic parts :)
Pride and Prejudice
Return to Me
And most Disney movies

I'm surprised you left off the Harry Potter movies....

Great list of movies. I agree with you on The Sound of Music, A little Princess, Ever After, and Anne of Green Gables series. I love those movies.

Some movies I could watch over again are:

1. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
2. Emma
3. Sabrina
4. Little Women
5. Rigoletto
6. Sleepless in Seattle
7. You've Got Mail
8. While you were Sleeping
9. Disney movies like Katie said.
10. Price and Prejudice

I'm sure there's more but these are the only ones I can think of at the moment.

Amanda- I think it's the deeper messege that really draws me to Prince Caspian.
Katie- I almost had Beauty and the Beast on here. I think it probably should be actually.
Hilary- If we were talking books Harry Potter would definately be on the list, but the movies come second to these for me.
